I am an Industrial Designer with 25+ years of experience designing toys, pet and other consumer products. I graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art. I’ve worked at companies such as Hasbro, Cap Toys, Little Tikes and American Greetings, ultimately becoming Director of R&D at American Greetings.
In 2010, I started Pete M. Studio, LLC as a freelance and Industrial Design consultant for various toy companies all around the globe. Pete M. Studio, LLC works with start-ups as well as larger toy companies. I was briefly syndicated with Universal Uclick. I continue to do illustrations for children’s books and magazines. I was also sponsored by Oticon Inc for a comic strip series called Plugged In about a boy who wears hearing aids. (Fun fact, both my daughter and I have worn hearing aids our entire lives!)
In addition to creating, I also am adjunct faculty with both Case Western Reserve and CIA, teaching aspiring entrepreneurial engineers and future product designers.
I specialize in product development doing rough thumbnail ideation, tighter B&W sketches, color renderings and detailed controlled drawings that can be handed over to engineers and manufacturers who create the final CAD for prototyping or tooling.
If you can describe it, I can draw it. If you can’t, I can still draw it. And it may be better than you envisioned. I hope I can be of assistance to you, but if not, I hope you enjoy looking at what is a VERY small sampling of my work.
Sincerely,
Pete McEachen Pete M. Studio, LLC Founder, Creator and CCO
